I came up with the name Corner of the Attic when I was searching for a business name that stood out and just happened to look at my game's cupboard. I suddenly saw an old attic where things people didn't use anymore lurked. A place where someone discovers the most amazing treasures long forgotten by someone else.
Corner of the Attic came into existence when Futuristic games closed down, (1 minutes silence please...). Werribee had no one supplying Games Workshop products anymore and people were asking where they could get Puzz 3d puzzles from, so I thought I'd see what I can do about that. Almost a year later, (it's our first birthday in February), we're still going and yes it's a real attic. We may be only able to fit 3 cats, 2 people and a futon in our little attic, but it's not the size of the shop, it's its ability to provide a place where you're welcome to visit and a place to find out more about games and things that you may not have encountered before. When was the last time you sat down with your family and friends and played a board game?
